ICSCL has established a formal in-house HSE-MS for her operations, which has resulted in completing projects without accidents/incidents with the exception of minor injuries. This preliminary HSE Method Statement/Execution Plans and procedures have been produced as a guide for safe execution of the contract.

  1. ii) PRE-MOBILISATION/INSPECTION OF TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT

The Managing Director, Project Manager, QA/QC Manager, HSE Manager, Field Engineers, Safety Officers and CLIENT Representatives shall carry out safety/technical inspection of all equipment and tools for this job before taking them to site.

 

     iii) MOBILISATION

During mobilization, only machines, tools/equipment and materials approved by CLIENT shall be transported to site. Prior to mobilization the ICSCL shall install In-Vehicle Monitoring System (IVMS) onto all vehicles for this Contract to monitor the Drive Right usage monthly. The recorded data shall be sent for decoding analysis and report.

 

  1. iv) HSE MEETINGS/PEP TALKS

Fortnightly, safety meetings shall be organized on site to discuss matters on safety, health and welfare related to the project. The contract Manager or, Supervisor shall chair the meetings, and the Safety Manager/ Officer will act as an adviser. Daily pep-talks shall be held before commencement of a given job by team members.

 

  1. v) HSE INSPECTION/AUDITING

The work site shall be constantly monitored on regular basis by the project QA and Safety Officers on activities carried out/workers attitude towards safety and ensuring compliance with safe work procedures and instruct workers where necessary on safety matters. Safety/Technical audit of all machines/tools shall be carried out and a report made on such audit monthly.

 

  1. vi) PROJECT SAFETY

Individual assumption of responsibility of safety is of vital importance in our safety administration and this will be frequently emphasized to the entire workforce throughout the project duration. We intend to adopt practical means to ensure that work is completed without disrupting normal work activities and fulfilling contractual agreement. Ensure work area is not accessible to unauthorized personnel. We shall also take every precaution in causing the absolute minimum disruption to the existing CLIENT Production Facilities and Thirty Party Properties

 

       vii) PROJECT HSE OFFICERS         

Designated Safety Officers shall be on site regularly to co-ordinate all safety activities. They will organize regular safety meetings, pep talks and toolbox meetings and he /she will ensure that safety measures are discussed as the need arises. An in-house unsafe acts audit shall also be carried out by the Project Safety Officers from time to time as stated earlier above. We shall also request our client to carry out site safety inspection and inform us of defects to enable us meet desired standards where the need arises.
